Due to the significantly changing international context, the Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH has decided to fundamentally review its programs, to strategically realign its work, and to focus.
The final decision on the Foundation’s future portfolio will take place in the summer of 2019.
“Based on comprehensive studies, we are currently developing potential new focus areas for our work in international relations, as we call this support area in the tradition of Robert Bosch,” explains Sandra Breka, Member of the Board of Management at the Robert Bosch Stiftung and responsible for the field. “In doing so, we rely on the legacy of our founder Robert Bosch, the decades of tradition and experience of our work to date, and our diverse relationships with esteemed partners.”
In preparation for the transition, the Foundation has decided to end its existing projects and programs in the field of international relations. This process will be conducted in a responsible way and in compliance with all contractual obligations. The Foundation currently engages in dialogue with its partners in order to secure joint achievements.
In this process, the iac Berlin will continue to be an important partner of the Foundation. As a laboratory for new formats and collaborations, the iac Berlin will contribute to bringing new approaches to network development into the philanthropic field. The Bosch Alumni Network will serve as an active memory of the programmatic work, connect former and current fellows and partners on boschalumni.net and act as an impulse giver for the Foundation and its network.
